Day Trading Is A Process Not A Journey

For me when I began Day Trading was a journey, I was happy to quit my full time job to jump head first into a great career that I can work at home.
I was excited and also looking for action. Previous to this I worked in IT and it was like watching paint dry.  The mentality I has was that I was ready to make good money as well as have some fun and excitement doing it. My first few months was great, I invested in a small cap nasadaq stock. I was up $90,000 in one day and I was amazed at myself, wow I got the hang of this already!

A few months after that the stock I decide to hold was down 50%, I was getting margin calls and instead of being up $90,000 I lost $10,000 of my initial $30,000 investment! What an emotional roller coaster! I learned a valuable lesson from this trading and it took me a while to realize that I was trading for fun, entertainment and I saw day trading forex, futures and stocks as a journey, not as a business.

Day Trading As  Business

The reason so many traders fail, is the same reason most people fail at other businesses, simply because they did not do the proper things when they needed to do them to be successful. The moment I began to treat day trading as a business and not as a 'journey' or 'entertainment' is the moment I became successful. Keep in mind yes...day trading is risky, does not matter if you are trading Forex, Futures or stocks, however we must understand there is a simple solution to success in this business and that is to treat it like a business. How many times do hear successful business people talk abut their trials and tribulations in their relative business and how they overcame the obstacles? I will bet a lot correct? Truth is Day Trading is the same, however the problem is so many people who are teaching day trading have never traded long enough to become successful, so you have the blind teaching the blind.

Simple Day Trading Course
