Best Time To Trade Forex?

Not Today! That's For Sure!

Today was one of those days. When you repeat to yourself "I know this is not the best time to trade Forex ". Often Traders ask us questions like; What is the lot size to Trade with? Or What is the Best Time To Trade Forex? What are the Best Days To Trade Forex?

What Lot Size Should I Trade With?

Well, I will not go into any specific recommded details in anyway about Lot sizes since we NOT in the business of giving specific advice in any way. All I can say is that I prefer to trade 1-3% Margin. So let's say on a 100,000 account then 1 standard lot is sufficient for each trade size you make as a Forex Day Trade. Let's say you only have 10,000 USD to trade with then 1 Mini Lot would be the 1% instead of 1 Standard Lot Size. I try not to trade over 3%, however sometimes I will find myself taking tight scalps with tight stops and 4-5% Margin. The bottom line is my trade sizes vary according to how well I think my trade potential is of working out. Of course Lot sizes will vary from Trader to Trader, however I have noticed that high lot size does not mix well with the newbie environment.

When is The Best Time To Trade Forex?

Well I can tell you it was not today. We traded in the room today on 8-27-2012 and the Markets were very dead. We have a 10 Pips range in our Forex Pair as I almost fell asleep while trading...........ok I am only kidding LOL. Today we also a situation where London session was off due to a Bank Holiday. We ended our trade with like +3 pips on a EUR/USD short. WOW! Here is a trade pattern which actually looked nice and In also have some key support levels and resistance levels to watch on EUR/USD enjoy!
