Day Trading Career
Day Trading Career
A Day Trading Career is not something to take lightly. Like any Career you get out what you put in. When we often think of Day Trading, many people think that it's like playing a 'slot machine' and there is no real way to win at this game. You may hear others try to discourage your possible day trading Career by telling potential day trading candidates that they are going to lose....Of course there indeed are many people who lose at this game, but you will also find many that enjoy the luxuries of a day trading Career choice.
A Day Trading Career - Serious Commitment for Serious Results
Day Trading Career is a serious manner and your investment will often show in the outcome. This is not a game for the weak minded and because you have often times your money on the line emotions run and must be tamed by a concrete system. Studies show that most day traders lose at day trading, however almost the same percent of businesses fail in their first two years of operation, what then does this tell you? If we can simply find out what that small percent of winners are doing then we can get closer to gaining that winning edge. At Fx Live Day Trading we treat your Day Trading Career as a very serious choice. Learning to trade does not leave you with only the options to trade Forex, but you can apply these strategies and techniques to stocks, futures, options and treasuries.
To actually do something right you must adhere to the rules of winning in that particular line of work that you are planning on excelling in. In the World of Trading one can choose a variety of avenues to work towards. There are many different styles and many different day trading career paths one can take. A Banks trainee for a currency trader, hedge fund manager for equities stock fund, retail stockbroker for an investment firm. Many options exist but one must use discipline to excel. At Fx Live Day Trading we teach the necessary strategies to help you towards your goals in day trading. When we say day trading we mean 'day trading', you will see that the definition of a day trader is one who trades "intra-day", see wikipedia.
Deciding if you want to become a day trader is an important step. Know what you are getting into. A high stress job where not only is your own money on the line but in some cases client's money. This means that you have less chances for messing up or you could be out of your job. Do you like working for a white collar type job, where you must be in early and leave late? Do you mind wearing a suit and tie to work? Do you mind staying late when asked to write a research report that is past its due date? Are you the type of person that likes to be in an office or work outside? When I worked n Wall Street I would often take 3-5 breaks per day in my 10-12 hour days to stroll outside in front of the New York Stock exchange and smell the fresh air. This energized me and allowed me to get a well deserved break. I have met many good potential Brokers and traders who just could not take the fact that they had to sit in front of their monitor most of the day. So ask yourself, is this really for you? On the other hand when others are complaining about money and their boss, you may just be in retirement mode after 10 years or so of being a trader, personally I could never see myself retiring from this as I love it so much.
The Opportunities of Forex has presented a great road for those who are ready to take this path. Previously only Banks and Large companies were able to participate in the Forex markets, today it is easy and readily available to day trade. With easy to use chart systems and readily available data Traders can get started easily and often with free charting systems that had a considerable cost 10 years ago.. in fact 10 years ago this would have been unheard of. Forex now has over 4 Trillion in equity traded daily and growing.
To succeed we need to understand that the tools of the trade involve chart data, news, a trading system and of course discipline to stick to that system. For those interested in a Day Trading Career , and not just a part time 'get rich scheme' it is important to find a Forex system and trading course that you feel good about. Our system has been developed by Gerard (BT) and Marco (FT) who have been trading for a combined 23 years in these Financial markets. They have compiled their tips tricks and strategies to develop what they feel to be the 'complete system'. It is hard to argue against a team of traders who actually show each day how they trade and what they trade in real time. This is one element that many other day trading rooms do not offer. We feel that if you were to look for a trainer who teaches Tennis or Golf wouldn't you at least like to see them play? How about if you went to a lawyer and they lawyer said well I have not practiced law in 10 years...would you be happy with that lawyer? Why then would we not spend our hard earned income to see our Coaches trade live in action so then we can determine for ourselves if they are the people we want to train us?
So in close I would like to say that day trading is a career that requires a significant investment of your time. Markets that are always change need strict attention to charts and fundamentals. In our live trading room we teach market fundamentals as well as technical strategies.
